Payment Methods

Checkout should be the quietest part of the experience: quick, secure and free of surprises. Here is how payment works at Esoteric Luxe.

Payment methods we accept

The methods available to you are shown at checkout and can vary with your device, browser and country.

Currency

Prices across the site are shown in US dollars (USD $), and every order is charged in USD. If your card or account is held in another currency, your bank sets the conversion rate and may add its own fee. That charge comes from your bank, not from us.

Secure payment

Payments are handled by Shopify's secure checkout and the payment providers behind each method. The connection is encrypted, and your full card details are never stored on our side.

When am I charged?

Payment is taken when you place the order and it is confirmed at checkout. You will receive an order confirmation by email straight away; a second email follows with tracking once the parcel is dispatched.

If a payment is declined

A declined payment is almost always something your bank can clear up in a minute. Before trying again, it is worth checking that:

the card number, expiry date and security code are entered correctly;
the billing address matches the one registered to the card;
the card is approved for international or online purchases.

If it still will not go through, contact your bank or card provider. They can see the reason for the decline, and we cannot. You are also welcome to try another method from the list above.
